Not just new equipment — a system done correctly.

ABC Service technicians installing a new furnace in a Bay Area garage.

Furnace Installation

ABC Service treats furnace work as combustion engineering. Every install includes static-pressure measurement, gas pressure verification under load, combustion analysis, and CO testing — the work that determines whether a furnace actually delivers its rated AFUE.

We measure manifold gas pressure under steady-state firing, perform combustion analysis at high-fire, and document CO levels at the supply register. Combustion work is life-safety work, and the testing is not optional in our process.

Furnace Replacement

We install 95%+ AFUE condensing furnaces with ECM blowers — two-stage and modulating equipment from Trane, Carrier, Bryant, and Lennox. Selection is matched to load, duct capacity, and the rest of the system, not picked from a catalog.

Two-stage and modulating furnaces only deliver their efficiency advantage when paired with appropriately sized ducts and matched thermostats. We design the package, not just the appliance — and document the configuration for the next technician who services it.

Furnace Repair

The airflow side of the system is where most no-heat and short-cycle complaints actually live. We troubleshoot ignition, gas valve, inducer, pressure-switch, and limit-circuit faults, then repair returns, seal duct leakage, and match blower configuration to the actual home.

Most no-heat and short-cycle complaints trace to airflow restriction, undersized returns, or closed dampers rather than the furnace itself. We measure first, recommend second, and keep replacement off the table until the airflow story checks out.

Furnace Maintenance

Annual service covers combustion analysis, filter replacement, blower verification, and safety-circuit testing. Most premature furnace failures trace back to airflow or combustion issues — both preventable with consistent service.

Our maintenance protocol checks inducer amperage, pressure-switch operation, flame signal, limit cycles, and condensate drainage on every visit. Catching the slow drift in any of those readings is how we keep furnaces in service past the 20-year mark.

Why it matters

Why this is worth doing right.

Real efficiency

Condensing furnaces deliver 95–98% AFUE — but only when venting, gas pressure, and airflow are correct.

Combustion safety

Combustion equipment requires combustion analysis. We measure CO and O₂ on every commissioned system.

Quiet performance

ECM blowers and proper duct design eliminate the loud, full-blast cycles of older equipment.

Longevity

Most premature furnace failures trace back to airflow and combustion — both preventable with a proper install.

Our process

How a furnace project runs.

  1. 01
    Evaluate

We assess existing equipment, loads, venting, electrical, and site constraints on-site.

  2. 02
    Design

We size and specify equipment to the building — with options and trade-offs explained plainly.

  3. 03
    Install

A dedicated lead tech handles a permitted, clean install with finish-grade workmanship.

  4. 04
    Commission

We start up, balance, and verify the system against design intent with calibrated instruments.

Extremely clean boiler installation and excellent communication throughout. They engineered the system properly instead of just swapping a unit on the wall.
