Smart Panel Upgrade Available

Authorized SPAN Smart Panel Installer

Adding an EV charger? A SPAN Smart Panel can dynamically manage your home's load — often letting you skip an expensive service upgrade while staying ready for future electrification.

Not just new equipment — a system done correctly.

Level 2 Charger Installation

ABC Service installs Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint, Wallbox, and universal J1772 chargers — hardwired or NEMA 14-50. Selection depends on vehicle, future-proofing, and how the homeowner uses the garage.

Charger selection considers vehicle compatibility, the NACS-to-J1772 transition, app and grid-services support, and how the homeowner expects to use the garage in five years. The right hardware decision protects against an avoidable rip-and-replace later.

EV-Ready Sub-Panels

For multi-vehicle homes, ADUs, and detached garages, a dedicated EV sub-panel is often cleaner than running individual home-runs back to the main service. We size, locate, and feed sub-panels for current and future charging loads.

Wire runs are sized for 125% of continuous load per NEC 625, terminations are torqued and documented, and conduit is installed with bends and supports a finish electrician would sign off on. The work passes inspection because it is built to pass inspection.

Smart Load Management

ABC Service is a SPAN authorized dealer and installs smart load-management systems for EV charging and backup-power optimization. When panel capacity is tight, the SPAN smart panel lets most homes add Level 2 charging without an unnecessary service upgrade.

SPAN monitors whole-home demand in real time and dynamically balances loads — prioritizing the circuits that matter, throttling EV charging during peak draw, and extending battery runtime during outages by shedding non-critical circuits automatically. Homeowners monitor usage, set priorities, and remotely control individual breakers from the SPAN app, turning the main panel into an intelligent energy hub for both daily charging and emergency backup power.

Multi-Family & Commercial

For multi-family and small commercial sites, we install common-area chargers with sub-metering, billing integration, and HOA-friendly conduit plans that scale to additional ports over time.

For HOA and small commercial deployments, we propose conduit infrastructure that supports future port expansion without re-trenching, with metering and billing platforms HOAs can administer themselves. Right-sized common infrastructure is what makes EV charging viable at the building level.

EV Charger
Why it matters

Why this is worth doing right.

Charge faster

A proper 40–60A Level 2 install delivers 25–40 miles of range per hour — versus 4 mph from a wall outlet.

Safety

EV charging is a continuous, high-amperage load. Wire gauge, breaker, and termination quality matter.

Capacity-aware

Smart load management lets most homes add EV charging without a full service upgrade.

Rebate-qualified

Many EV charger installs qualify for utility and state rebates. We document and submit.

Extremely clean boiler installation and excellent communication throughout. They engineered the system properly instead of just swapping a unit on the wall.
