Air Conditioner Repair in Morgan Hill — HVAC System Not Turning On?

That was the first thing Tracy from Morgan Hill asked us when her air conditioner completely stopped turning on. A quick look at the unit showed it hadn’t been serviced in years — dust, spider webs, corrosion, and even moss on the pad made that clear. 🕸️

• A disconnected wire was resting against the metal casing, which could have caused a short circuit;
• The heat exchanger was dirty and the filter needed replacement 🧹.

We replaced the missing capacitor and disconnected the faulty heater. The system came back to life, but we advised against continued use in this condition without proper maintenance and replacement of worn components.

The repair cost was under $400, but this was just a temporary fix.
